1. Overview
This Lead Purchase & Usage Policy applies to all leads purchased through Payperlead.
Payperlead provides buyers with access to business enquiry information intended to help them connect with individuals who have shown interest in a relevant product or service.
By purchasing or accessing a lead, the buyer agrees to use the information responsibly and in accordance with this Policy, Payperlead's Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and applicable law.
2. What is a Payperlead Lead?
A Payperlead lead is a business opportunity containing information collected in connection with an enquiry or expressed requirement.
Depending on the category, a lead may contain information such as:
- customer or prospect name;
- mobile number;
- email address;
- city or locality;
- product or service requirement;
- requested amount or budget;
- employment or business information;
- category-specific requirement information; and
- other information supplied in connection with the enquiry.
The exact fields vary dynamically according to the applicable lead category.
3. Information Available Before Purchase
Payperlead may display selected lead information before purchase to help buyers evaluate whether the opportunity is relevant to their business.
This may include public preview fields such as:
- city;
- locality;
- requirement type;
- requested amount;
- other non-sensitive category-specific information.
Personal contact information or other purchase-only fields may be masked, partially hidden or protected before purchase.
4. Purchase-Only Information
After a successful purchase, the buyer may receive access to additional information associated with the purchased lead.
Purchase-only information may include:
- full mobile number;
- full email address;
- full customer name;
- additional enquiry information; and
- other fields configured as purchase-only for the relevant category.
5. Shared Leads
Unless expressly labelled as exclusive, Payperlead leads may be sold to more than one buyer.
The marketplace may display the maximum number of buyers permitted for a lead and the number of buyer slots remaining.
Buyers should review this availability information before completing their purchase.
6. Buyer Limits
Each lead may have a maximum buyer limit determined by Payperlead.
The current platform may allow a lead to be purchased by multiple buyers up to the maximum limit displayed on the marketplace.
Once all permitted buyer slots have been used, the lead may be marked as sold out and made unavailable for further purchases.
Payperlead may change the maximum buyer limit for future leads or purchases.
7. No Automatic Exclusivity
Purchasing a lead does not automatically provide exclusive rights to the prospect.
Unless the marketplace specifically states otherwise, the buyer should assume that another eligible Payperlead buyer may also purchase the same lead within the displayed buyer limit.
8. One Purchase Per Lead Per Account
A Payperlead account may purchase a particular lead only once.
The platform may block attempts to purchase a lead that the same account has already purchased.
Creating additional accounts for the purpose of bypassing this restriction or manipulating the marketplace may be considered misuse of the platform.
9. Permitted Use
Purchased lead information may be used by the purchasing customer or purchasing business for legitimate business activities directly connected with the relevant enquiry.
Examples include:
- contacting the prospect regarding their stated requirement;
- providing information about a relevant product or service;
- following up on the enquiry;
- assessing eligibility for the requested service;
- preparing a quotation or offer;
- maintaining legitimate internal sales records.
10. Own Business Use Only
Purchased lead information is intended for the purchasing buyer's own legitimate business use.
The buyer must not treat a purchased lead as a database asset that can be freely sold, distributed or commercialised independently of the original enquiry.
11. No Resale
Buyers must not resell purchased lead information.
This includes selling or licensing the information:
- individually;
- as part of a database;
- as part of another lead-generation service;
- through another marketplace;
- through brokers or agents;
- in any other commercial redistribution arrangement.
12. No Unauthorised Sharing
Purchased lead information must not be shared, transferred, published or distributed to unrelated third parties.
Buyers must not:
- post lead information publicly;
- publish lead data on websites or social media;
- send lead databases to unrelated businesses;
- provide leads to another lead seller;
- upload purchased lead data to public directories;
- otherwise make the data available to unauthorised persons.
13. Internal Business Access
Where the purchasing buyer operates through a business, reasonable access may be provided internally to employees or personnel who genuinely need the information to respond to the relevant enquiry.
The purchasing buyer remains responsible for ensuring that such internal users handle the information responsibly, securely and consistently with this Policy.
14. Contacting a Lead
Buyers should contact leads only in connection with the product or service relevant to the original enquiry.
Communications should be:
- professional;
- relevant to the enquiry;
- reasonable in frequency;
- truthful and non-misleading;
- consistent with applicable communication rules.
15. No Harassment or Abusive Contact
Buyers must not use purchased lead information to harass, threaten, intimidate or repeatedly contact an individual in an unreasonable manner.
Buyers should respect clear requests from individuals who no longer wish to receive contact, subject to applicable law.
16. Accurate Business Identity
Buyers should clearly identify themselves and, where applicable, the business on whose behalf they are contacting the lead.
Buyers must not:
- impersonate Payperlead;
- claim to be an employee of Payperlead;
- misrepresent their business identity;
- mislead the lead about the reason for contact.
17. Protection of Purchased Lead Information
Buyers should take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure or loss of purchased lead information.
Buyers should avoid storing lead information in publicly accessible locations or sharing it through insecure channels where unnecessary.
18. Buyer's Legal Responsibilities
Once a buyer receives purchased lead information, the buyer is responsible for ensuring that their subsequent processing, storage and communication activities comply with applicable law.
Buyers should evaluate their own legal obligations relating to:
- personal data processing;
- telemarketing or commercial communications;
- industry-specific regulations;
- financial-services rules where applicable;
- consumer protection;
- record keeping and security.
19. Lead Consent
Where Payperlead directly collects an enquiry, Payperlead intends to provide an appropriate notice and obtain the applicable consent before the lead is submitted.
The notice may explain that relevant enquiry information may be shared with businesses or service providers who may contact the individual concerning the requested product or service.
Buyers should use purchased data consistently with the purpose for which the enquiry was made.
20. Withdrawal or Deletion Requests
An individual may contact Payperlead to request deletion or restriction of further sharing of their enquiry information where applicable.
If Payperlead receives such a request, the lead may be removed from future marketplace availability while the request is reviewed.
Where the lead has already been purchased, Payperlead may review the circumstances case-by-case and take such steps as are appropriate under applicable law.
21. Lead Information and Accuracy
Payperlead may perform verification appropriate to the lead before making it available for purchase.
However, some information is based on details provided by the individual making the enquiry and may later change.
A lead should not be interpreted as a representation that every field will remain permanently accurate after the time of collection.
22. Meaning of “Verifiedâ€
Where a lead is labelled as verified, the label means Payperlead has completed the verification process applicable to that lead.
Verification does not mean that Payperlead guarantees:
- the prospect will answer;
- the prospect will remain interested;
- the prospect will qualify;
- the prospect will purchase;
- the prospect will obtain approval;
- the buyer will make a sale;
- the buyer will generate revenue.
23. No Conversion Guarantee
Buyers are responsible for their own:
- sales process;
- follow-up;
- pricing;
- product suitability;
- service quality;
- eligibility assessment;
- commercial outcome.
24. Lead Quality Complaints
Under the current Payperlead policy, a lead-quality complaint may be considered where the provided phone number is invalid or wrong.
Eligible complaints must be submitted within the applicable complaint period, currently 1 day from purchase.
Other circumstances such as lack of interest, non-response or failure to convert are governed by the Refund & Replacement Policy and are not ordinarily eligible lead quality complaints where the phone number itself is valid.
25. Access to Purchased Leads
Purchased leads may remain available through the buyer's Payperlead account area.
Under the current platform policy, purchased leads are intended to remain accessible on an ongoing basis while:
- Payperlead continues to operate the relevant service;
- the buyer's account remains available;
- the account remains compliant with Payperlead's policies.
Buyers should maintain appropriate internal records where continued access is commercially important.
26. Export and Download
Payperlead may allow buyers to download or export purchased lead information for legitimate internal business use.
Export functionality does not change the restrictions in this Policy.
Downloaded information remains subject to the same restrictions concerning resale, unauthorised sharing and responsible use.
27. Prohibited Activities
Buyers must not use Payperlead or purchased leads to:
- commit fraud;
- mislead or impersonate another person or business;
- conduct unlawful marketing;
- harass individuals;
- sell or redistribute personal lead information;
- publish private lead information;
- scrape or systematically extract marketplace data without authorisation;
- bypass lead purchase restrictions;
- use multiple accounts to manipulate buyer limits;
- use lead information for an unrelated unlawful purpose.
28. Violation of this Policy
Where Payperlead reasonably believes that a buyer has violated this Policy, Payperlead may take appropriate action, including:
- issuing a warning;
- restricting marketplace functionality;
- suspending an account;
- terminating an account;
- restricting complaint or wallet functionality;
- taking further action where required by law.
29. Changes to this Policy
Payperlead may update this Lead Purchase & Usage Policy prospectively to reflect changes in its marketplace, lead-generation methods, legal requirements or platform functionality.
The current version will display the applicable last-updated date.
