Payperlead Policies

Payment Policy

This policy explains how payments are processed on Payperlead, when an order is considered successful and how payment-related issues are handled.

Last updated: 12 August 2026

1. Overview

This Payment Policy applies to purchases made through Payperlead and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Refund & Replacement Policy and Wallet Policy.

Payperlead Technology provides digital business lead opportunities through the Payperlead marketplace.

2. Supported Payment Methods

Payperlead may accept online payments through a third-party payment gateway.

Available payment methods may include:

  • UPI;
  • credit cards;
  • debit cards;
  • net banking;
  • supported digital wallets;
  • other payment methods made available by the payment gateway.

The exact payment methods shown at checkout may change depending on the payment gateway, issuing bank, device, customer location or other technical factors.

3. Payperlead Wallet

Customers may also use eligible Payperlead Wallet balance toward lead purchases.

The Payperlead Wallet is currently intended for eligible credits issued by Payperlead, including approved complaint resolutions.

Users cannot currently add or top up wallet balance directly.

4. Combination of Wallet and Online Payment

Where permitted by the platform, a customer may use available Payperlead Wallet balance toward an order and pay the remaining amount through the supported online payment gateway.

Example:

If the lead price is ₹1,000 and the customer has ₹300 available in the Payperlead Wallet, ₹300 may be applied from the wallet and the remaining ₹700 may be paid through the available payment gateway.

5. Final Price

The price displayed as payable at checkout is intended to be the final amount payable for that lead.

Payperlead Technology is currently not registered under GST and therefore will not separately charge or represent GST unless the business becomes legally registered and entitled to do so.

Payperlead may revise lead prices, discounts or promotional pricing prospectively.

6. When a Payment is Considered Successful

A payment is considered successful when:

  • the payment gateway or applicable payment source confirms the transaction;
  • Payperlead successfully records the payment status; and
  • the order is successfully completed or confirmed by the platform.

A payment initiation alone does not mean that a purchase has been successfully completed.

7. Temporary Lead Reservation During Checkout

Payperlead may temporarily reserve a lead slot when checkout begins.

This reservation helps prevent the applicable maximum buyer limit from being exceeded while payment is being processed.

If payment is not completed within the permitted checkout period, the reservation may expire or be released.

8. Failed Payments

A payment may fail because of:

  • insufficient funds;
  • bank rejection;
  • UPI failure;
  • card authentication failure;
  • payment gateway error;
  • network interruption;
  • timeout;
  • technical error; or
  • other payment-provider reasons.

Where a transaction fails, Payperlead may cancel the pending order and release any related lead reservation.

9. Amount Debited but Order Not Confirmed

In some cases, the customer's bank, UPI application or other payment source may show that money was debited even though Payperlead has not confirmed the order.

In such cases, Payperlead may investigate the transaction using the available gateway and transaction records.

Depending on the verified status, Payperlead may:

  • confirm the successful payment and complete the order;
  • restore access to the purchased lead;
  • assist with the applicable payment reversal or refund process; or
  • take another appropriate corrective action.

10. Payment Reversal Timelines

Where a failed or reversed payment is to be returned through the banking or payment system, the actual credit timeline may depend on:

  • the payment gateway;
  • the issuing bank;
  • UPI or wallet provider;
  • card network;
  • financial institution processing timelines; and
  • other payment-system requirements.

Payperlead does not control all third-party processing timelines.

11. Payment Successful but Lead Not Available

If payment succeeds but the lead is not unlocked or displayed because of a technical issue, Payperlead will investigate the transaction.

After verification, Payperlead may:

  • restore or unlock the original lead;
  • provide a replacement lead;
  • provide wallet credit;
  • provide another appropriate refund where necessary.

12. Payment Credentials

Payperlead does not require users to disclose secret payment authentication information directly to Payperlead, including:

  • UPI PIN;
  • card CVV;
  • internet banking password;
  • OTP intended only for payment authentication;
  • other confidential banking credentials.
Payperlead support will never ask a customer to share a UPI PIN, card CVV or banking password by email or through customer support.

13. Third-Party Payment Gateway

Online payments are processed through third-party payment service providers.

Such providers may apply their own security measures, authentication requirements, terms and privacy practices.

Customers may be redirected to or interact with the payment gateway during checkout.

14. Transaction Records

Payperlead may retain transaction-related information necessary to operate the marketplace and verify payments, such as:

  • Payperlead order reference;
  • payment gateway reference;
  • transaction amount;
  • payment status;
  • transaction date and time;
  • other non-secret transaction information needed for reconciliation or support.

Payperlead does not need to store a customer's secret payment authentication credentials for this purpose.

15. Invoice or Receipt

After a successful order, Payperlead may provide a downloadable invoice, receipt or order record through the customer's account.

The document may include:

  • order number;
  • lead details or reference;
  • purchase amount;
  • payment method or provider reference where appropriate;
  • transaction date;
  • business details of Payperlead Technology.

As Payperlead Technology is currently not GST registered, Payperlead will not represent such document as a GST tax invoice unless legally entitled to do so.

16. Duplicate Charges

Payperlead's system is intended to prevent a user from purchasing the same lead more than once through the same account.

Where a customer believes a duplicate payment has occurred because of a technical error, the customer should contact Payperlead support.

Payperlead may investigate and provide an appropriate correction where a duplicate charge is verified.

17. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers should contact Payperlead first where they believe a transaction is incorrect, duplicated or technically defective so that the matter can be investigated.

Fraudulent, abusive or knowingly false payment disputes may result in account restrictions or other appropriate action.

This clause does not prevent a customer from exercising any lawful right available through their payment provider or applicable law.

18. Cancellation after Successful Payment

Because purchased lead information may be made available immediately after successful payment, completed purchases ordinarily cannot be cancelled merely because the buyer changes their mind.

Eligible lead-quality complaints are governed separately by Payperlead's Refund & Replacement Policy.

19. Wallet Credits for Lead Complaints

Where an eligible lead-quality complaint is approved, Payperlead may provide a replacement lead or credit the eligible amount to the Payperlead Wallet.

Such wallet credits:

  • may be used toward future eligible lead purchases;
  • cannot ordinarily be withdrawn to bank or UPI;
  • cannot be transferred to another user;
  • do not expire under the current wallet policy.

20. Pricing or Technical Errors

Payperlead aims to display accurate pricing.

Where an obvious technical or system error causes a clearly incorrect price to be displayed or charged, Payperlead may investigate and take an appropriate corrective action, subject to applicable law.

21. Payment Security

Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices, Payperlead account credentials and payment methods.

Customers should immediately report suspected unauthorised Payperlead account activity to:

support@payperlead.online

22. Changes to this Policy

Payperlead may update this Payment Policy prospectively to reflect changes to:

  • payment gateways;
  • supported payment methods;
  • platform functionality;
  • wallet functionality;
  • security procedures;
  • applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

The latest version will display the applicable updated date.
