Payperlead Policies

Lead Verification & Quality Policy

This policy explains how Payperlead approaches lead verification, what the Verified status means and the limits of lead-quality assurance.

Last updated: 12 August 2026

1. Overview

Payperlead aims to provide buyers with useful business opportunities while maintaining a practical lead-verification and quality-review process.

This Lead Verification & Quality Policy explains:

  • how leads may be reviewed before sale;
  • what the Payperlead "Verified" status means;
  • what verification does not guarantee;
  • how lead freshness and availability are presented;
  • when a lead-quality complaint may qualify for review.

2. Lead Sources

Payperlead may generate or collect leads through multiple lawful channels, including:

  • Payperlead websites and enquiry forms;
  • digital advertising;
  • social media campaigns;
  • telecalling;
  • offline campaigns and events;
  • direct enquiries;
  • other permitted lead-generation activities.

Information provided in a lead may originate directly from the individual submitting the enquiry or from information collected during the relevant lead-generation process.

3. Lead Verification

Payperlead may review a lead before making it available for purchase.

The verification process may vary depending on:

  • the lead category;
  • the lead-generation source;
  • the information available;
  • the verification methods reasonably available;
  • the type of enquiry.

Payperlead may use one or more reasonable checks before marking a lead as verified.

4. What “Verified Lead” Means

Where a lead displays a Verified Lead label, this means Payperlead has completed the verification process applicable to that lead before making it available for purchase.

“Verified” does not mean guaranteed conversion, guaranteed response, guaranteed eligibility or guaranteed commercial success.

5. Limits of Verification

Lead information may be based partly or entirely on information supplied by the person making the enquiry.

Information may subsequently change after collection.

For example:

  • a person's requirement may change;
  • a person may choose another provider;
  • a person may no longer require the service;
  • a phone may temporarily become unreachable;
  • financial or eligibility circumstances may change;
  • location or preference details may change.

Payperlead cannot guarantee that every piece of lead information will remain unchanged after the lead was originally generated or verified.

6. Lead Quality

Lead quality should be understood as the usefulness and validity of the information available at the time the lead is collected, reviewed and offered through Payperlead.

Lead quality does not mean that the lead is guaranteed to become a paying customer.

7. Contact Information

Where a lead contains a mobile number, Payperlead may take reasonable steps as part of its verification process to assess the lead before sale.

Under the current Payperlead complaint policy, a purchased lead may qualify for a lead-quality complaint where the provided phone number is:

  • invalid; or
  • wrong.

8. Valid Number but No Response

A valid phone number does not become invalid merely because the lead does not answer a particular call.

The following are ordinarily not considered lead-quality defects where the phone number itself is valid:

  • no answer;
  • temporary unavailability;
  • busy phone;
  • delayed callback;
  • person does not respond immediately.

9. Change of Interest

A person may change their mind after submitting an enquiry.

The following circumstances do not ordinarily mean that a verified lead was invalid:

  • the person is no longer interested;
  • the person selected another provider;
  • the person postpones the purchase;
  • the person changes their budget;
  • the person decides not to proceed.

10. Eligibility and Approval

Payperlead does not guarantee that a prospect will qualify for the product or service offered by the buyer.

This may be particularly relevant to categories involving:

  • loans;
  • insurance;
  • financial services;
  • real estate;
  • credit products;
  • other eligibility-based services.

Eligibility decisions are made by the relevant provider, buyer, institution or other responsible party.

11. No Conversion Guarantee

Payperlead does not guarantee that a purchased lead will convert into a customer, sale, appointment, approval, contract, revenue or profit.

Conversion may depend on factors outside Payperlead's control, including:

  • the buyer's response time;
  • sales skills;
  • follow-up quality;
  • pricing;
  • product suitability;
  • competition;
  • eligibility;
  • customer preference;
  • market conditions.

12. Lead Freshness

Payperlead may display when a lead was added to the platform or indicate that a lead is fresh or recently added.

Freshness indicates the relative age of the lead on the platform and does not guarantee that the person remains interested at the exact moment the buyer contacts them.

Buyers are encouraged to contact relevant purchased leads promptly.

13. Lead Expiry

Payperlead may assign an expiry date or availability period to individual leads.

An expired lead may be removed from the active marketplace and prevented from further purchase.

Lead expiry is intended to help reduce the sale of outdated opportunities.

14. Shared Lead Quality

Unless expressly labelled otherwise, leads may be shared between multiple eligible buyers up to the displayed maximum buyer limit.

Shared availability does not itself mean that a lead is defective or lower quality.

Buyers should review the remaining buyer slots before purchasing.

15. Maximum Buyer Limit

Payperlead limits the number of permitted buyers for an individual lead according to the applicable marketplace configuration.

Once the permitted buyer limit is reached, the lead may be marked as sold out.

Payperlead may change buyer limits prospectively for future leads and purchases.

16. Lead Preview

Payperlead may show selected public preview fields before purchase.

Buyers should carefully review:

  • lead category;
  • location;
  • requirement;
  • price;
  • available buyer slots;
  • other visible lead information.

The buyer is responsible for assessing whether the visible information fits their business requirements before purchasing.

17. Protected Information

Certain information may be masked or protected before purchase.

Examples may include:

  • full mobile number;
  • email address;
  • full identity information;
  • other category fields configured as purchase-only.

Masking protects lead information while still allowing the buyer to evaluate relevant public preview details.

18. Complaint Window

A lead-quality complaint must currently be submitted within 1 day from purchase.

Buyers should review purchased information and raise an eligible complaint promptly.

19. Current Eligible Complaint Reason

Under the current Payperlead lead-quality policy, a complaint is eligible for consideration where:

The purchased lead's phone number is invalid or wrong.

20. Non-Eligible Quality Complaints

Where the phone number is valid, a complaint will ordinarily not qualify merely because:

  • the lead does not answer;
  • the lead is temporarily unreachable;
  • the lead is busy;
  • the lead says they are not interested;
  • the lead changes their mind;
  • the buyer cannot convert the lead;
  • the buyer does not earn revenue;
  • the buyer cannot secure an appointment;
  • the lead does not qualify for the buyer's service.

21. Evidence and Verification

A buyer may submit a complaint through the Payperlead complaint process.

Payperlead may request reasonable supporting evidence where necessary.

This may include:

  • call logs;
  • screenshots;
  • call-status information;
  • other reasonable evidence related to the complaint.

22. Complaint Review

Payperlead may independently review the complaint and available lead information before making a decision.

A complaint submission does not automatically mean the complaint will be approved.

23. Complaint Resolution

Payperlead aims to review eligible lead-quality complaints within 24 hours, provided the information needed for verification is available.

If a complaint is approved, Payperlead may:

  • provide a replacement lead; or
  • provide an eligible Payperlead Wallet credit.

24. Complaint Abuse

Buyers must not misuse the lead-quality complaint process.

Misuse may include:

  • submitting knowingly false complaints;
  • providing fabricated evidence;
  • misrepresenting contact attempts;
  • attempting to obtain repeated improper credits;
  • claiming a valid number is invalid without reasonable basis.

Abuse may result in account restrictions, suspension or termination.

25. Buyer Responsibility

Buyers are responsible for reviewing lead information before purchase and determining whether the opportunity is suitable for their own business.

Payperlead does not make the buyer's commercial decision on their behalf.

26. Quality Improvement

Payperlead may use complaint outcomes and internal quality reviews to improve:

  • lead-generation processes;
  • verification procedures;
  • category field design;
  • lead expiry practices;
  • marketplace quality controls.

27. Changes to this Policy

Payperlead may update its verification and quality procedures as the platform evolves.

Changes may apply prospectively to future leads and purchases.

The latest version of this Policy will display the applicable updated date.
